Dr. Harder was born and raised in Spokane, Washington; he graduated from Cheney High School. He attended the University of Idaho for three years and was named Freshman Agriculture Student of the Year. He also raced for the university’s alpine ski team. Dr. Harder attended Creighton University School of Dentistry through the Idaho Dental Education Program. He was one of seven students chosen for annual state scholarships to attend the University.
After graduating in 1995, he returned to Moscow, Idaho and worked for one year as an associate. Dr. Harder moved to Moses Lake the following year and purchased an existing practice that has since been renamed Moses Lake Family Dentistry. His professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Grant County Dental Association (former president), and the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics.
Dr. Harder and his wife Cynthia enjoy playing golf and traveling every chance they get. When they aren’t having fun at a Jimmy Buffet concert, you can find them at the ballet recitals and basketball games of their three very active children, Jagen, Amber, and Amanda. Dr. Harder is also an avid outdoorsman and snow skier. Dr. Harder can also be found at the track watching his thoroughbred horses run under the stable name Squatting Dog Stables.
